Basic First Aid is taught in an interactive environment, for individuals who want an overview of First Aid & CPR/AED for home, work or play. Basic First Aid covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies, serious bleeding and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission. Course includes first aid and CPR procedures.

Basic First Aid
- Duration: 8 hours / 1 day
- Instructor: Certified Red Cross, WorkSafe Basic First Aid Instructor
- Completion: 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam
- Certification: 3-year certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED, Worksafe BC first aid certificate.
